Kalooki 40 Video Tutorial

Welcome to the Kalooki 40 online video demo tutorial.

Follow these easy instructions and you will be able to play Kalooki 40 in a couple of minutes.

In the video tutorial you will learn about the deck. The deck in Kalooki 40 is a standard 52 card deck with 2 jokers added.

In Kalooki 40 the ace value can be 11 only. Ace melding requires the K and Q or at least 2 other aces.
After a player goes Kalooki (goes out) an ace or joker in an opponents hand is an 11 and 15 point penalty respectively.

To replace a joker melded in a 3 card set, you must replace it with cards of both missing suits. To reuse a melded joker in a run you must replace it with the exact card it represents.

To begin play each player is dealt a card face up. The high card starts and play goes around the table clockwise.
In all Kalooki games each player is dealt 13 cards. The first player picks up a card to start play. You can lay down melds, and play off opponents melds at this time. The game ends when a player discard there last card. The players with cards receive penalty points.
